D/F Water-Cooled "BIG MIG" 1000 Amp Machine Torch
The "BIG MIG" 1000 amp high current machine torch is recommended for mechanized welding applications where production demands the maximum durability and quality for mechanized gas metal arc welding. The model NCM15 as provided will accommodate 4" and 6" current tips fastened by a collet action nut. The water-cooled nozzle accepts threaded gas nozzles. This barrel is primarily for wire diameters from 1/16" through 7/32" (1.6mm through 5.6mm). The suggested current level with the threaded gas nozzles with the model NCM15 would be approximately 750 amperes. Maximum current capacity applicable to all models is 1000 amperes. Direct mounting is accomplished by utilizing interconnections to the welding head or wire drive, with shielding gas accommodated by a horizontal connection.
